FL 106 Business Class

The Freightliner Business Class trucks evolved from our
heavy- duty trucks designs and can be spec'd out to work in severe-duty applications. The
FL 106 Truck offers a unique mix of economy, heavy load capacity, durability,
low-maintenance engineering, and the 8.5 liter Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine. It sports
a 4" hood skirt to accommodate the Series 50 engine package that boosts available
vehicle horsepower to 315@2100 rpm. This new overhead cam, turbocharged engine is the
world's most advanced four-cylinder power plant, and is based on the design and
electronics of the proven six-cylinder Series 60.
The FL 106 Truck is based on a true heavy-duty frame design and its degree of
custom-building flexibility is unsurpassed in the industry. In addition to the standard
air brakes with ABS, you may choose from a wide array of heavy-duty and driver-comfort

set-back front axle and tight turning radius make these trucks more maneuverable in tight
settings, especially useful in urban applications. The FL 112, with its 6-inch longer BBC,
accommodates the Cummins M11+ electronic engine, featuring up to 370 hp @ 2100 rpm, with
up to 1350 lb-ft torque. With its corrosion-resistant double galvanized steel cab, 1000
